Story Sketching

Last Christmas, I was hoping to write a story and make the drawings to go with it. But I ran out of time. Here's one of my sketches. I used colored pencil.

Face Painting

I like drawing ... on walls, doors, tables. Also on paper. And on myself. I was happy to receive a face painting kit for my 9th birthday. Here I am as a cat.

The World

Mama put a paint program (created by a 9-year-old kid!) on Papa's iPhone so I can draw. Here's one of the first drawings I made. Papa liked it very much and hasn't deleted it from his phone.

Simon Helps Jesus

I used paint in tubes for my background and for the road. I used crayon and cray-pas for Simon and Jesus. I mixed some water on the cray-pas to make the smudges on Jesus' face.

This is for the homeschool group's Station of the Cross tonight. It was fun to do but hard because I had to glue the figures on cardboard. They did not want to stand up and cutting cardboard is hard. Next year, I might just use clay and paint to make my station.

Reading Latin

I am now 8 years old.
I still like art.
I went to the museum to see more, and read the Latin written on the frame.

An Art Exhibit

I went to an Art Exhibit opening and I met the painter who drew the pictures. I got pieces of paper from the pile about her. Her paintings are great!

I will also have my own art exhibit. I will draw houses, animals, cars, portraits, and landscapes. I will use crayon, paint, magic markers, colored pencil, watercolor, and oil pastel. I will be 8 years old.
